Well, step #1 toward our solar installation is done. The tree on the east side of the house is down. I don’t take cutting down a tree lightly, but this was a junky tree – that side of the house is constantly littered with small branches. Plus, it’s a Norway maple, so it’s been sucking

We have peas! In woodchuck news, we left the house last Saturday, and turned onto the main road we’re just two houses in from, and there was a very dead woodchuck in the middle of the road. It had the right coloring to be ours, and we haven’t seen hide nor hair of any sort
