The Vivid blanket is coming along, now that I have enough yarn. I’m far enough in that I’ve memorized the pattern. Our weather has been snowier than it has been in a number of years, and colder than it has been in a number of years. So I’ve also gotten a fair amount done with
This is the third time I’ve knit a Hermione Hearts Ron hat, so I won’t do a formal finished post. This is a continuation of using up the Targhee Tango sport. Slowly but surely! In other stash busting news, here’s the last of the End of the World sock yarn. I only had about foot-long
There’s been a development with the Vivid blanket. The yarn I made the original one in is no longer available, so I ended up going with Cascade yarn. The original was in fingering weight, but I liked the colors in the Superwash Sport better, so decided to go with that. Sport’s just the next size

Pattern: Two Colour Infant Hat by Paulina Chin Yarn: KDD & Co Ooskit in the Riach and Choffer colorways Needles: Size 4 and 5 circs and Size 5 DPNs A little more stash busting in under the wire for November. This was a great pattern – very clearly written, and nice and quick to knit.
Pattern: Nalu Mitts by Leila Raven Yarn: Bare Naked Wools Targhee Tango Sport in the Apilado colorway Needles: Size 4 DPNs This is a great pattern – really well written out. A fairly new knitter should be able to do this pattern, and it’s got some nice technique to it too. I still have so
