With a Boreas chart done, I’m back to knitting. This is the Electric Sheep shawl by Beata Jezek. I’m using a gradient set of Sundara Extra Fine DK Silky Merino called Night Skies. It’s three skeins going from blue to teal. (I saw it and had to buy it immediately – they are my colors.)
I really enjoyed making the Argus sweater. It had some really interesting construction details, and I enjoyed working with the yarn. However, it didn’t really fit right. I’ve faced the two sweaters that I dropped earlier this year because they had both pissed me off, in separate ways. The first was the Orbits sweater, the remains of which you see above. Unfortunately, there’s colorwork in the sleeves. And I knit sleeves with DPNs. And the tension on the floats was not good.
