Knitting Notes
The first Sonsie hat is done. This is the slouch size. I really enjoyed the pattern, and I have enough yarn left, I figure I might as well knock out the beanie as well, while I’m at it. This really is fun pattern – very well written.

The Trisha sweater is going well. Which means I’m past the interesting bits in the yoke, and have moved into the endless stockinette portion of the body. What is cool about this is that it’s technically reverse stockinette, but the designer used short rows to turn things around so you’re knitting it as regular stockinette.
First two yarns of 2025 are used up – these hexipuffs are the rest of the The Alpaca Yarn Co. Paca-Peds and Wonderland Yarns & Frabjous Fibers Cheshire Cat yarns I just made hats with. It was nice to get some yarn struck out of my list – I sat on all my ends last
Pattern: Allerton Hat by Wooly Wormhead Yarn: The Alpaca Yarn Co. Paca-Peds in the Stardust colorway Needles: Size 1.5 DPNs This is a cute pattern – and has enough going on to keep it interesting, even though it’s fundamentally a garter stitch tube. With a Boreas chart done, I’m back to knitting. This is the Electric Sheep shawl by Beata Jezek. I’m using a gradient set of Sundara Extra Fine DK Silky Merino called Night Skies. It’s three skeins going from blue to teal. (I saw it and had to buy it immediately – they are my colors.)
I really enjoyed making the Argus sweater. It had some really interesting construction details, and I enjoyed working with the yarn. However, it didn’t really fit right. The neckline was definitely bigger than I would have liked, so I’ve ended up not wearing it. (This is the downside of not really having the extra time
Pattern: Summer Fjord by Trin-Annelie Yarn: Knit Picks Lindy Chain in the Harbor, Mist and Silver colorways Needles: Size 3, 4 and 5 circs Cursed sweater #2 is done. And I’ll never wear it. I think my yarn choice wasn’t good. Despite ripping it back to do the medium size, it’s still too big. I
