I finished the Echo Flowers shawl on Sunday – here it is in its unblocked glory. Work is progressing on the Maude Louise sweater. It’s an easy knit, and I’m nearly to the end of the back. The only slightly bad point is the lattice pattern. To get gauge, I actually had to go up two needle sizes (apparently all that lace knitting was making me tighten worse than usual). Even
I think I can safely say that I hate nupps. I’m in nupp hell with the Echo Flower shawl at the moment. On my first attempt, the nupps were so tight, there was no way I’d be able to purl them back to move on, and I’d rather stupidly not strung a lifeline on that
