The Foliage hat is back on the needles. I finally got smart and strung a lifeline through the first row on the circular needles, and I’m pretty sure that’s the only reason I was finally able to complete a full repeat of the lace pattern. Finally!

Well, I finished the left Fetching mitt. And this being my first experience with any sort of hand-wear, I promptly found that my hands are indeed actually longish enough that I need to account for it when making anything that’s supposed to end above my knuckles. I need to add at least five rows above
I cast on a Fetching mitt last night, and next thing I knew, I was about half way through it. Score one for the pattern. Speed is good. The cables (my first) were also much less scary than I’d built them up to be in my head. I also swatched out my Sitcom Chic sweater,
