Fall Flowers
Flowers from my travels over the weekend.
Yesterday was Maine Lighthouse Day, where a number of lighthouses in Maine that aren’t normally open to the public are open for free. It’s a day we normally manage to be out of town for, but this year, we made sure we were actually around to take advantage of it. We made three stops, all

The Farmer’s Market looked gorgeous yesterday. There’s definitely been a seasonal shift – with many root vegetables, and apples everywhere. I bought some local plums that I’m planning on making jam with, and we got ingredients for gazpacho, as well as some sweet corn, for what is possibly our last veggie grill blow out of

BF called me at work yesterday and mentioned that dinner was taken care of. I got home, and we hopped in the car. We headed toward Gorham, at which point I became very confused, as we don’t jointly know anyone that lives out in that direction. It took me a few more miles before I

On Tuesday night, on the hottest day of the week, we decided to a scope out one of the relatively local campgrounds – Recompence Shores in Freeport. It’s really lovely, with a ton of tenting sites right on the water. We’re still working on BF’s second job schedule, but we may be doing a weekend
