CSA 2011, Week 18

This week’s haul was: peppers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, Romano beans, broccoli, and dinosaur kale. The cooking highlight of last week was this: Orecchiette with Sage, Roasted Garlic, Cauliflower, and Prosciutto. It takes a bit of time, but was super easy to make, and so very good.

This week’s haul was: lettuce, cucumbers, garlic, a melon, tomatoes, and peppers. The cooking highlight of last week was the Roasted Eggplant with Green Goddess Sauce from Melissa Clark’s In the Kitchen with a Good Appetite, which I already ohhed and aahed about at length in the book review early this week.
