High tide with the remnants of Hurricane Lee. We’d tried to go to Two Lights, but a lot of the neighbors had the same idea. The line of cars was out Two Lights Road all the way back to Maxwell’s Farm.

This was Sunday’s walk. I’d been meaning to go there for a while, because they have gentians this time of year, so when my mother mentioned that our local salvage store (just a bit up the road near the mall) had scored a haul from a rather nice yarn store, this pinged my memory bank
