An hour south of me, in the land where they have had a couple of shots of normal May weather before this weekend, I found plenty of columbine! The trout lilies went by before I could see them, but I got regular Solomon’s seal and false Solomon’s seal, more violets, my favorite maple, and a cool new mushroom. It was a good day.
