Yeah, so second day of Spring this year, it snowed. Have I mentioned the daffodils are actually budding? (See the third picture above.) It’s gone now, but it was definitely a moment of “Really?”.

We have crocus. A full month earlier than last year. The contrast of this winter to last winter continues to crack me up. In other news, the grow light is going, as of yesterday. To the left, all of my kale planting has sprouted. To the right, a solitary Swiss chard.

So I pulled the tomatoes out last Saturday. One of them was mostly dead, and there was a frost coming. I’d like to take note of the lush shiso and nasturtiums above. They’re gone now. That frost was definitely a game changer.
